Brands & Retail Business

The Brands Business accounts for less than two percent of the Group’s annual turnover. It is an on going strategy to develop this business unit as one of the future growth drivers of the Group. Currently, the two active brands within the business unit are Marguerite Lee and MX Lingerie.

Marguerite Lee
Acquired in 1991, the Marguerite Lee chain of boutiques is said to have pioneered the concept of luxury lingerie in Asia in the 80’s. Today two boutiques remain in Hong Kong at the Peninsula Hotel and The Landmark carrying exclusive European designer lingerie. In September 2007, a franchised boutique will be opened in the city of Chengdu at the Seibu Department Store.
